The signal box was sporting a new guise on 10th November 2004. It had not long ago been seen with wooden
boards over the windows, presumably as a result of vandalism. David Glasspool

The waiting shelters were spruced up in 2004 and the lamp posts painted in the contemporary blue colour of
the day. They were to last four years more until destruction. David Glasspool

The 16th April 2007 provided weather akin to a summer's day. Thus, when Stone Crossing was depicted in this
eastward view, the night temperature was remarkably warm for the time of year. David Glasspool
